In the area of success with that very much related to effective decision making. It is important that fear and lack of knowledge are create difficulty to take good decision of an issue. It's said that the only leaders, researchers, scholars who never fail are the ones who never try. It's a truth that you won't be right all the time. Nonetheless, using a planned approach to decision making will absolutely progress your probability of getting it correct. Good decision making can help you accomplish your goals and achieve you dreams. Thinking about what you want to be is not really a decision. That’s a dream and long term goal.
Making a decision is different. A decision is a choice between two or more possible course of action. Making decision is an every-day even. You will to make hundreds of decisions along the route to achieving your dreams. Should you go home study after school or should you play with your friends? You have to make decisions everyday. It is said that every student,children,teacher and parents to make decision which is not always good.some times it has wrong.  
One of the most important parts of decision making is looking ahead to see what might happen if you do something. This is called predicting out comes or consequences. The better you are at predicting outcomes, the better you will be at making decisions that result in the outcomes you want.
Key steps/process for good decision making
  • Define the problem, situation or issue about which a decision needs to be made.
  •  Collection of information, Learn as much as possible about the issue.
  • Consult experts and, if possible, observe the situation for yourself. The more information a leader accumulates, the better the decision.
  • Identify the all possible options or courses of action you have.
  • Consider all the possible consequences or out comes of each course of action.
  • Execute, it might be difficult, but do it anyhow.
  • Consider your own values- and your beliefs about right and wrong and which course of action are consistent with your values.
  • Consider how your decision may affect other people
  • Choose the course of action that seems best based on your knowledge, values, morals religious upbringing and your goals.
  • Evaluate the decision and how you feel that you carefully considered all your options and are comfortable with the choice you made.
  • Don't avoid the decision making process. Above steps will serve you in well decision making.
